This Little Mouse Struggled To Swim To Shore, So A Good Samaritan Gave Him A Hand
He's soo tiny! Swim lil mouse!
We're going to call this tiny mouse Mickey, because why not. Poor little Mickey had a bad day recently.
Poor little Mickey was trying to make it up the wall of a river bank, but he kept on getting swept away by the cold water below.
The water was freezing, but Mickey wouldn't give up. He kept on swimming.
After struggling, Mickey finally made it. But he was so exhausted by the journey that he couldn't move. Toronto native Martine Gingerich had been watching the whole debacle, and decided to step in and help out.
She picked the little guy up, who was so tired he couldn't even struggle. She placed him in a safer spot, but he was still to tired to move.
So Martine set up her warm gloves so that Mickey could rest up. She put him in some direct sunlight and he shook himself and groomed himself and seemed a little better.
We all need a little nap from time to time.
Martine took Mickey somewhere he'd be a little safer; a wood pile he could hide in easily.
No act of kindness is ever too small. Good job, Martine!
