There Are Thousands Of Dead Fish In A New Jersey Marina Right Now, And It's Kind Of Horrifying
After becoming trapped by boats and suffocated, there are now thousands of dead fish floating to the surface, and you kind of need to see it for your self.
Thousands of peanut bunker fish recently became trapped in a creek in Raritan Bay by bigger fish and boats, and have now suffocated and died.
The suffocation was due to a lack of oxygen in the bay caused by warm temperatures in the water. And if the sight isn't scary enough, the smell is even worse.
And to make matters worse, The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has no idea how long cleanup will take.
Things could be pretty smelly for a while...
