The Periodic Table Can Be Used To Play Battleship And It's An Ingenious Way To Teach Kids Science
The game can be played by kids that haven't even studied chemistry yet.
Karyn Tripp is a blogger and a homeschooling mother who recently found teaching her kids the periodic table quite difficult. Her solution was turning the table into a classic game of Battleship.
Players select two, three, four, and five elements to mark their ships. Then they call out coordinates just like the classic board game. The game can even be played by kids that haven't even studied chemistry yet.
We loved this idea and wanted to share it with you. You can check out the full story and more on Karyn's website here: http://teachbesideme.com/periodic-table-battleship/
